The conference will be held at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Porto.
Porto, famous by the Port Wine, the second largest city of Portugal, is known as the capital of the North. It is located on the Right Bank of the river Douro, on the Atlantic Ocean. The city itself has a population over 500 000 inhabitants, while the population of the metropolitan area is 1 300 000. The historic center of Porto is part of the World Cultural Heritage since December 1996.
Porto is served by an international airport located 13 km north of the city and by two harbours. An extensive road and rail network links Porto to the rest of Portugal and to all of Europe. The Porto airport has several daily flights to London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Zurich, Paris, Brussels, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona and other European capitals.
The official language of the Conference will be English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
